Confession of a Glory Dweller

 After speaking in a meeting this week I realized there are many people hungry for the very essence of God called the "glory". It is often talked about but, rarely experienced in our modern churches. I spent several years just doing church, however something on the inside was telling me there was more. The riggers of modern church life and schedule don't allow for this experience or encounter. The training centers of our spiritual leaders don't allow for such an experience they are there for intellectual development. Intellectual pursuits can rarely bring you to the experience or encounter of God. Intellectualism can never transform the inward part of a man, only an encounter. I left traditional church life in pursuit of what I longed for. In my journey, my longing for more brought me into an encounter of His presence, His glory. Real presence that was tangible and overwhelming. The encounter brought what I would term an addiction or a strong passion for another encounter with Gods glory. These encounters caused transformation. Over time I lost the ability to relate with those who had no experience. All you want to talk about is God and your encounter and many don't want to hear you. Some will label you as out of touch or misinformed. Apostle Paul told the church in Corinth "And all of us, as with unveiled face, because we continued to behold in the Word of God as in a mirror the "glory" of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord Who is the Spirit. Paul is talking about an experience that happens when we behold His glory. This is not an intellectual accent, but an experience that transfigures us into another image or person. It is my passion to help people get beyond an intellectual knowledge of God into a real dynamic transforming lifestyle. After all our Father is called the Father of Glory. Here is a simple prayer to help set you up for an encounter with God. Father of glory, I commit myself to a lifestyle of dwelling in the glory, saturating in the very essence of Your presence. I come into the secret place to dwell with you, to remain for a time, I have no other agenda. I have opened this time in my day just to dwell with you in this secret place. I prepare my spirit now for an intimate encounter with You. I prepare myself, my body, my mind and my spirit to begin to draw from your radiant power. I wait on you to clothe me with your glory. I wait for you... Selah Father of glory, let me transcend earthly things, the temporal things in this secret place so I can see, hear, taste, touch eternal things. I still my thoughts to hear Your thoughts, Your whispers, Your heart. Let me sense the shadow of Your glory, come now. You alone can cause me to be transcend earthly things in Your glory. Right now by faith I come into your radiant presence, your glory. I come to be with you and to receive Your glory... Let me be drawn up with you in high places... Selah Father show me your glory, it is the only thing that makes me stable. It marks me with your ability, authority and power. It gives me supernatural strength and wisdom. No foe can withstand the power of your glory in me. It is my Refuge, my protection from times of trouble. It is my Fortress, a structure of substance from which I find protection. It releases radiant life within my being, in every place that is baron... Selah Father show me Your glory, let it rush through my being like a river flowing. Let Your glory rush over me like waves of an ocean. Right now Your glory drowns my fears and insecurities. It rushes me like cool wind across a hot desert. Your glory causes me fearless from terror. It makes me fearless from the arrows of evil plotters and slanderers. It makes me fearless with power over the demonic realm... Selah Father your glory covers me, it transforms me into your image. Your glory causes me to be addicted to more of Your glory. Your glory releases passion and compassion in me. Your glory, it illuminates my spirit, it clothes me with power. Father your glory covers me like falling rain. Your glory is my refuge, my dwelling place. In the glory no evil can befall me, nor any plague or calamity can come near my life. In Your glory your angels accompany me, your angels defend me, your angels preserve my life, your angels bear me up with their hands. In Your glory Your angels are given charge over me... Selah Father Your glory is resting on me and in me releasing power, authority, and strength.. You release your very glory on my life because you love me. Your glory overshadows me. Your glory releases revelation to my spirit. Your glory is intimate and full of love. Father show me Your glory, even so come! Additional Bible verses to assist you in your experience.

Transformation in His Glory

In sculpture to change the original image like say stone requires the removal of stone to get to the image and design of the sculptor. With each cut what is not to be a part of the new image is removed to clear way for the new image. Transformation into another image from one encounter in His glory to another encounter in His glory. Each encounter brings us "back" into His image and likeness which is our original design.
We behold a very powerful living librating essence called glory. The essence of the Lord, the essence of His persona or the glory of the Lord. His very person transfigures us when we behold Him. To behold is to stay in a position or place gazing on a subject and drawing from that image until our image changes. We literally draw from His image and our image is transformed. The Lord is a living image transmitting His character, His form and His function to ours.
As in sculpting, while in the glory of the Lord things will drop off that are not a part of the final design that is just as crucial as the things that are added or imparted. Our human structure and our mind is renewed as well. It is a complete transfiguring putting everything in place to function truly supernatural. The mind of a man is changed in image and function as well. We have mind of Christ imputed to us. The Word begins transforming us where our spirit man begins to direct our mind and whole life.
Who you really are comes forth from the encounters in the glory. I believe in our transformation our sickness drops off, our poverty mentality drops off, our limited human reasoning drops off. Our healthy image comes forth, our soul begins to prosper, our attitude shifts from limitation to all things are possible. The gap from hearing the Word and the manifestation will have no gap of time. No more depression or fear. Fear our worse nemesis is removed in the glory, the word says fear is cast out by perfect love.
Adam and Eve were covered with the glory of the Lord. They were perfect in their spirit, nothing missing. Perfect communication and intimacy with the Lord. No knowledge of the curse or evil. They lived and functioned as the image of their Father. They were the express image of the Father of Glory. In our transformation we too will live above evil influence, above the curse.
Transformation from our spirit man throughout our natural man... don't let time beholding the glory of the Lord be a casual visit, but a regular habitation.
2 Corinthians 3:18

Open Doors are Coming for the Prophets

So where is the Apostolic and Prophetic Today?
God has appointed some in the church for His own use: first apostles special messengers; second prophets or inspired preachers and expounders; third teachers; then wonder-workers; then those with ability to heal the sick; helpers; administrators; speakers in different unknown tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:28
There is a major hindrance in the Body of Christ regarding revival, awakenings and outpourings, it has to do with current established authority. Over time we have over corrected and have eliminated key structural positions in the church such as prophets and apostles. There is proper authority in the Body of Christ, Paul explained it clearly in 1 Corinthians 12:28 and it does not require a theologian to interpret.
In my research and have read a mainline denominations by-laws which I grew up in. They have created man made by-laws which their ministers have become bound to by their oaths. I read that the office of Apostle and Prophets were deemed unnecessary to the health and growth of the church. The result is these ministers do not regard those people with honor in their gifts and callings. We are who we are and we are a distinct part of the end time church and no man can shut that door.
Several years ago I was asked by a "pastor" to leave a church due to my prophetic gifting, some elders didn't think it was appropriate. I did leave at the request of the pastor without causing division. I left and kept quiet. However this week I received "closure" to years of rejection because I realized it was not a demonic warfare that I was fighting, but it was man-made by-laws which rendered my particular gifting null and void in typical churches.
These man-made by-laws have rendered the true word of God powerless. This is why apostolic ministries have broken out all over. You cannot restrain the gifting and callings of people who submit to the presence of God. The next outpouring will not have the man made agendas and limiting by-laws, but a people submitted to God out of humility.
So where is the Apostolic and Prophetic Today? We are here and we are strong and we are doing the will of God in the region.
Yes we love and bless those who despitefully use us, but we do not cease in our callings and gifting because of them. Humble yourself and walk in your calling and the Spirit of God will make away where there seems to be no way. Today I declare that the apostolic and prophetic people over this region go free in Jesus name, be who you are, do what you are called to do and don't limit God because of man. Mike Tate
